Annaba Port Company Launches Extensive Cleaning, Sanitation and Prevention Campaign Ahead of the Summer Season
According to the directives of the Minister of Transport, Mr. Saïd SAYOUD, aimed at enhancing the image of Algerian ports and strengthening their economic and logistical role, and in line with the field instructions issued by the Port Services Group "SERPORT", Annaba Port Company, in coordination with the relevant departments has launched an extensive cleaning and sanitization campaign covering the entire port area.
This initiative is part of the Company's ongoing efforts to preserve the cleanliness of the port environment and reinforce preventive measures against potential risks, particularly the risk of fire outbreaks during the summer season, when temperatures are at their highest. This campaign aims to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for employees, economic operators and all port users.
To ensure the success of the campaign, all necessary human and material resources have been mobilized. The operation covers the port's quays, facilities, roads and open spaces, following a comprehensive field program designed to improve the port's overall environment, enhance its appearance, maintain cleanliness, and ensure continuous operational readiness.
Through this initiative Annaba Port Company reaffirms its commitment to fostering a culture of environmental responsibility, promoting the principles of prevention and sustainable development, and enhancing the quality of port services.
