Summer Season: Annaba Port Company Mobilizes Its Resources to Enhance Cleanliness and Preventive Measures
According to the directives of Mr. Saïd SAYOUD, Minister of the Interior, Local Authorities and Transport, aimed at improving the standards of Algerian ports, enhancing their surrounding environment and strengthening their operational readiness, and in accordance with the field guidelines issued by the Port Services Group “SERPORT”, Annaba Port Company organized, on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 8:00 p.m., a large-scale cleaning, disinfection and preventive campaign in coordination with the various relevant departments and authorities.
The operation covered various areas of the port, particularly quays, roads, facilities and port premises, as part of a field program designed to improve cleanliness and environmental upkeep, enhance general conditions within the port, and strengthen its operational readiness and the sustainability of its activities.
The company mobilized the necessary human and material resources for this operation to ensure that it was carried out under the best possible conditions, improve the port’s overall appearance, maintain its operational readiness, and provide a clean, safe and healthy working environment for employees, economic operators and all port users.
This initiative is part of the ongoing efforts undertaken by Annaba Port Company to promote a culture of cleanliness and prevention, preserve the environment and surroundings, and strengthen the principles of safety and sustainable development. These efforts contribute to improve the quality of port services and facilities while reflecting the image of a modern, clean and safe port, in line with the ongoing modernization and development of Algeria’s national port system.
