Export of 22,000 tons of steel billets to Italy
Pursuant to the instructions of the Minister of Interior, Local Authorities and Transport, Mr. Said SAYOUD, stressed at improving the level of services at national ports and providing the necessary support and assistance to economic operators active in exports for non-hydrocarbons sector and according to the field strategy of the Port Services Group “SERPORT”, a large-scale operation has been held for the loading of 22,000 tons of steel billets aboard the vessel “FLORA”, on behalf of the exporting company (Algerian Qatari Steel Company “AQS”), destined for export to Italy.
In this context, Annaba Port Company has mobilized all human and material resources to ensure the best possible conditions for handling this shipment, while providing the necessary facilitation to the economic operator in order to accelerate the loading process and ensure the vessel’s departure with the shortest time.
