Container terminal :
The container terminal of the Port of Annaba, covering 16 Ha, is equipped with all the necessary superstructures for its operations, such as storage areas and a hangar (CFS) for container consolidation and deconsolidation.
This terminal is versatile as it can accommodate container ships as well as Ro-Ro vessels of 8000 TPL, handling 20 and 40 feet containers, including refrigerated containers and general cargo carried by Ro-Ro vessels.

BULK CARGO AND STEEL PRODUCTS TERMINAL:
BULK CARGO: COAL AND IRON ORE:
Berth n°13 with a length of 320 ml, is primarily used for the import of high-grade coal and iron ore destined for the El Hadjar steel complex.
STEEL PRODUCTS:
Berths n° 14 and 15 with a total quay length of 630 m and a draft of 12.5 m are used for the import and export of steel and metallurgical products marketed by the SIDER El Hadjar steel complex.
The facilities have significant storage capacity and are also used for handling steel products and semi-products.
The installations of berths n° 14 and 15 include notably 05 electric cranes of 25 tons capacity and 02 electric cranes of 40 tons and are connected to the road and rail network.
PHOSPHATE TERMINAL:
The phosphate handling facilities managed by FERPHOS are located at berths n° 16, 17, and 19.
Berths n° 16 and 17 have a total length of 285 m and a draft of 12.5 meters.
Berth N°19 has a length of 220 m and a draft of 9.50 m.
The loading equipment consists of 03 telescopic gantry cranes with a unit capacity of 1000 tons/hour.
These berths are used for phosphate export following the halt of iron ore exports from Ouenza.
CEREAL TERMINAL:
Located in the north quay zone of the port, berth (12) is exclusively dedicated to grain transit.
With a quay length of 155 m and a nominal draft of 11 m, it can receive vessels of at least 30,000 DWT.

This berth includes a storage silo consisting of 59 cells with a total capacity of 16,000 tons.
The grain silo is equipped with a work tower, a control room, as well as facilities for stores and offices.
GENERAL AND MISCELLANEOUS CARGO TERMINAL:
The allocated quay length is approximately 760 m with an average draft of 11 m.
Located in the north quay area: Six (06) berths (No. 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11) are dedicated to handling various types of cargo in all packaging forms (sacks, pallets, big-bag, rebar, etc.) while berth 11 is dedicated to vegetable oil and sugar traffic.
Additionally, if needed, grain vessels can be handled at this terminal, which is equipped for this purpose with a VIGAN crane of 250 t/h capacity.
