Container terminal :
The container terminal of Annaba’s port, covering an area of 16 hectares, is equipped with all the necessary superstructures for its operations, such as stacking areas and a warehouse (CFS) for container grouping and de-grouping.
This terminal is versatile as it can accommodate both container ships and Ro-Ro ships with a capacity of 8,000 DWT. It handles 20 and 40-foot containers, including refrigerated containers, as well as general cargo transported by Ro-Ro vessels.

THE BULK TERMINAL AND STEEL PRODUCTS:
BULK PRODUCTS: COAL AND IRON ORE:
The berth No.13 with a length of 320 linear meters, is primarily used for the import of high-grade coal and iron ore destined for the El Hadjar steel complex.
STEEL PRODUCTS:
The berths No. 14 and 15 with a total quay length of 630 linear meters and a draft of 12.5 meters, are used for the import and export of steel and metallurgical products marketed by the SIDER El Hadjar steel complex.
The facilities have significant storage capacity and are also used for the handling of steel products and semi-finished products.
The facilities at berths No. 14 and 15 include 05 electric cranes with a 25-ton capacity, and 02 electric cranes with a 40-ton capacity, and are connected to both the road and rail networks.
PHOSPHATE TERMINAL:
The phosphate handling facilities managed by « FERPHOS » are located at posts No. 16, 17, and 19.
Posts No. 16 and 17 have a total length of 285 ml and a draft of 12.5 m.
Podtd No. 19 with a length of 220 ml, has a draft of 9.5 meters.
The loading equipment consists of 3 telescopic cranes, each with a capacity of 1000 tons per hour.
These posts are used for the export of phosphate following the cessation of iron ore exports from Ouenza.
GRAIN TERMINAL:
In the North Wharf area of the port, berth (12) is exclusively dedicated to the transit of cereals.
With a quay length of 155 ml and a nominal draft of 11 m, it allows the reception of vessels with a minimum deadweight of 30,000 tons.
The facilities of this berth include:
This berth includes a storage silo composed of 59 cells with a silage capacity of 16,000 tons.
The grain silo is equipped with a work tower, a control room, as well as storage and office spaces.
GENERAL AND VARIOUS GOODS TERMINAL:
The allocated quay length is approximately 760 ml with an average draft of 11 meters.
Located in the north quay area: Six (06) stations (numbers 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11) are dedicated to the handling of various cargo in all types of packaging (sacks, pallets, big-bags, rebar, etc.), while station 11 is dedicated to the handling of vegetable oil and sugar.
Additionally, if needed, grain vessels can be handled at this terminal, which is equipped for this purpose with a VIGAN gantry crane with a capacity of 250 tons per hour.
