Berthing of imported sheep vessel at Annaba’s Port
In line with the policy of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid TEBBOUN, aimed at ensuring the supply of the national market with Eid El-Adha livestock , and in implementation of the instructions of the Minister of Interior, Local Authorities and Transport, Mr. Said SAYOUD, regarding the adoption of all necessary organizational and logistical measures to properly frame this operation, the vessel "JULIA AK" berthed on Friday, April 17, 2026, at Quay No. 21/22, coming from Romania, carrying imported sheep intended to meet the needs of the national market on Eid El-Adha.
In this context, Annaba's Port Company has mobilized all human resources besides material and logistical means, in accordance with the established operational procedures for handling this type of ships in order to ensure the smoothest and most rapid unloading operation of the cargo under strict organizational and sanitary conditions prior to its transfer to the approved reception and distribution centers.
