Export of 20,000 tons of white cement to Guatemala
According to the instructions of the Minister of Interior, Local Authorities and Transport, Mr. Said SAYOUD, aimed at improving performance and enhancing the efficiency of the national ports and strengthening support for economic operators, particularly those active in non-hydrocarbons exports and in line with the directives of the Port Services Group “SERPORT”, the loading operation of the vessel "MV NEMRUT BAY" which berthed at Quay Terminal No. 09, has been ongoing at the Port of Annaba.
The operation concerns the shipment of a total quantity of 20,000 tons of white cement in big bags, destined for export to Guatemala in Latin America, on behalf of the economic operator " Biskria Cement", in a move that reflects ongoing efforts to promote national exports and strengthen their presence in international markets.
In this scope, Annaba Port Company has mobilized all human and material resources to ensure effective support and optimal conditions for handling this shipment within record time, in line with its commitment to support economic diversification and enhancing the competitiveness of Algerian products in international markets.
Through this operation, the Port of Annaba reaffirms its position as a strategic logistics platform in the Mediterranean basin, actively contributing to the development of international trade flows.
