Annaba's Port Company Celebrates International Day for Safety and Health at Work
On the occasion of international Day for Safety and Health at Work, celebrated on April 28 each year, the Health and Safety Unit of Annaba's Port Company organized in coordination with the National Institute for the Prevention of Occupational Risks – Annaba, a workplace awareness day for the Company’s employees. This initiative is about occupational risks and ways to prevent them, as part of promoting a culture of safety within the workplace environment.
The event was marked by the organization of a series of awareness activities, including the setup of information stands in sensitive areas of the port, with the aim of bringing information closer to workers and strengthening their awareness of occupational risks and how to avoid them. Informational brochures were also distributed, in addition to interactive contests that helped reinforce the fundamental concepts of prevention in a simple and engaging manner.
Through this initiative, Annaba Port Company reaffirms its ongoing commitment to promote hygiene, health, and safety standards at work, as an essential pillar for ensuring employee safety and the continuity of operations under the best conditions.
