International Workers’ Day
As part of the celebration of International Workers’ Day, observed on May 1st each year, Annaba Port Company organized, on Thursday, April 30, 2026, an honorary ceremony in tribute to its employees. The event took place in the conference hall of the port’s Ferry Terminal, in the presence of a large number of the company’s executives and staff.
In his opening address, the Director General conveyed the greetings of the CEO of the port services group “SERPORT” to all employees, wishing them a happy celebration and continued success and excellence. He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to all employees for the efforts made over the past year, which resulted in positive and encouraging outcomes. On this occasion, he called on everyone to continue working with responsibility and dedication in order to achieve the company’s strategic objectives and improve its performance.
For his part, the President of the Participation Committee of Annaba Port Company delivered a speech in which he expressed his gratitude and esteem to all employees for their commitment and continuous contribution. He called for uniting efforts and strengthening the spirit of cooperation in order to advance the company and serve the interests of employees in a climate marked by social stability and constructive dialogue.
This ceremony provided an opportunity to recognize and encourage employees’ efforts. In this regard, a group of workers who distinguished themselves through their performance during the first quarter of 2026 were honored, having been named best employees for the months of January, February, and March, namely:

* Mr. Bouzerna Karim, Department Manager in charge of payroll
* Ms. Nasseri Massouda, Billing Officer
The ceremony also included honoring several employees who retired during the same period, in recognition of their efforts throughout their professional careers, namely:

* Ms. Hadi Moufida
* Mr. Djailia Abdelaziz
* Mr. Djaffal Brahim
* Mr. Kamouni Nourredine
