Annaba Port received a Major shipment intended to support the construction works on the section linking Bouchegouf and Drea.
Pursuant to the instructions of the Minister of the Interior, Local Authorities and Transport, Mr. Saïd SAYOUD, aimed at supporting national strategic projects and ensuring the best conditions for receiving vessels carrying various equipment and machinery at SERPORT, Annaba Port received a significant shipment on Monday, 15 June 2026.
This shipment is intended to strengthen the construction works of the 121-kilometre section linking Bouchegouf and Drea, as part of the Eastern Mining Railway Line Project.
it consists of 120 pieces of various equipment and machinery intended to support field operations, 7,000 tonnes of steel bridge girders , as well as 23,000 tonnes of railway rails dedicated to this strategic project.
In this context, Annaba's Port Company mobilized all its material and human resources, as well as its organizational and logistical capabilities to ensure the successful execution of this operation under the best possible conditions. This reflects its readiness to support national projects by facilitating the unloading of various equipment and machinery from vessels.
