Annaba Port Company Concludes Internal Football Tournament and Celebrate the Independence National Day
In celebration of the 64th Anniversary of Algeria’s Independence and the Restoration of National Sovereignty, the participation Committee of Annaba Port Company organized an internal football tournament bringing together various departments of the Company. The event took place in a friendly atmosphere marked by sporting spirit, fair competition, and the strengthening of fraternity and cohesion among employees.
The final match, held on Sunday, 5 July 2026, featured the Container Terminal Directorate team “A” against team “B” . The encounter was highly competitive and intense, particularly in the second half, where the team “B” stood out with a strong performance, securing a decisive 3–0 victory and claiming the tournament title.
This sporting event is part of the social and cultural activities regularly organized by the Company. It aims to promote teamwork values, reinforce the sense of belonging, and strengthen human relations among employees. It also serves as an opportunity to make national commemorations a moment of remembrance, honoring the sacrifices of the martyrs and freedom fighters who made Algeria’s independence and sovereignty possible.
