In Solidarity with the Firefighting Efforts in Seraïdi: Annaba Port Company Demonstrates Its Social Responsibility and Commitment to Solidarity
Following the wildfires that affected the forests and woodlands of Seraidi region, located on the heights of Annaba, as well as several other provinces across the country, and in light of the exceptional circumstances that required the full mobilization of various public services and institutions, Annaba Port Company took the initiative to fulfill its social responsibility and commitment to solidarity by providing material and logistical assistance to the teams and agencies deployed on the ground to combat the fires. This contribution reflects the spirit of national solidarity and the Company's commitment to the values of mutual support.
Organized on Thursday, July 23, 2026, this initiative forms part of the Company's support for the tremendous efforts undertaken by the Civil Protection services, alongside members of the National Army, the Forest Conservation services, security forces, and all personnel involved in the firefighting operations. It also serves as a tribute to the remarkable sacrifices they make to protect lives, preserve the nation's forest resources, and safeguard public and private property.
The initiative included the provision of essential assistance to the teams operating on site, with the aim of improving their working conditions and enabling them to continue carrying out their humanitarian and national missions under the best possible circumstances, particularly in view of the extremely high temperatures and the challenging terrain of the affected areas.
Through this solidarity initiative, Annaba Port Company reaffirms its unwavering commitment to supporting the various institutions in responding to crises and exceptional situations.
