Official Handover Ceremony for General Management and Tribute to Mr. Ali Boulaarass, CEO of the Port Services Group
In an atmosphere marked by loyalty, appreciation, and recognition of dedication, Annaba Port Company held, on Thursday, August 13, 2026, an official ceremony for the handover of the company’s General Management to Mr. Ahmed Chouki LADJIMI, Acting General Director of Annaba Port Company, in the presence of Mr. Ali BOULMARAS, CEO of the Port Services Group “SERPORT”
The ceremony included a tribute held in honor of Mr. Ali BOULARAS, in recognition and appreciation of his efforts and valuable contributions during his tenure as head of Annaba Port Company, which contributed to support the company’s development, improving its performance, and promoting a culture of excellence and recognition of dedication.
In his speech, Mr. Ahmed Chouki LADJIMI expressed his determination to continue the path of development and progress initiated under Mr. Ali BOULARAS during his tenure at the company. He reaffirmed his commitment to pursuing this course with dedication and determination, alongside the management team, executives, and employees of Annaba Port Company, with the aim of preserving and consolidating the achievements made and further improving performance in line with the company’s objectives.
For his part, Mr. Ali BOULARAS, CEO of the Port Services Group “SERPORT” stressed the importance of joining efforts and strengthening coordination among the various components of the company, in order to preserve the positive results achieved, further develop them, and, if possible, surpass them. This, he noted, would contribute to enhance the company’s performance and its role in supporting the national economy. He also expressed his full confidence in the executives of the Company, under the leadership of Acting General Director Mr. Ahmed Chouki LADJIMI, and in their ability to rise to challenges and continue the company’s journey toward development and excellence.
Among the key initiatives associated with Mr. Ali BOULARAS’s tenure at the helm of the company was " the Employee of the Month" recognition initiative. This initiative served as an incentive for outstanding employees and helped establish a culture of recognizing effort, encouraging skills and initiative, and highlighting exemplary employees within the company.

- Mr. BENCHEIKH Rezki – Cargo Handling and Stevedoring Directorate, Employee of the Month for July 2026.
