Annaba Port Company Continues Cleaning and Rehabilitation Operations Across the Port Area
In accordance with the instructions of Mr. Saïd SAYOUD, Minister of the Interior, Local Authorities and Transport, aimed at continuing to improve the standards of Algerian ports, enhancing their surroundings and strengthening their operational readiness, and in implementation of the field directives issued by the port services group SERPORT, Annaba Port Company continues to intensify its on-site efforts to maintain the port area, preserve its cleanliness and improve its overall appearance.
In this context, Tuesday, September 29, 2026, starting at 8:00 p.m., Annaba Port Company organized a large-scale field operation to clean various areas of the port. The operation involved the relevant departments and teams and formed part of an ongoing programme to maintain port spaces and facilities and improve the working environment.
The operation covered several berths, roads, open areas and port facilities. Various types of waste and debris were collected and removed, contributing to an improved overall appearance of the port area, the preservation of clean port spaces and the provision of a suitable working environment for employees, economic operators and all port users.
The Company mobilized all the necessary human and material resources to carry out this operation, enabling field interventions to be conducted under appropriate conditions, strengthening cleanliness and organization standards, and maintaining the operational readiness of port facilities and infrastructure.
This operation forms part of the ongoing efforts undertaken by Annaba Port Company to maintain, clean and rehabilitate the port area, improve the working environment, and enhance the quality of its performance and services.
