Cooperation Agreement : Annaba Port Company and Badji Mokhtar University – Annaba
In accordance with the instructions of Mr. Saïd SAYOUD, Minister of the Interior, Local Authorities and Transport, aimed at continuing the modernization of national ports, developing human resources, enhancing performance and improving the quality of port services, and in line with the field directives of the port services group SERPORT, which seek to strengthen continuous training, develop human resource competencies and meet the requirements of port sector development, a cooperation agreement was signed on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, between Annaba Port Company and Badji Mokhtar University – Annaba.
The signing ceremony took place between Professor Dr. Mohamed MANAA, Rector of Badji Mokhtar University – Annaba, and Mr. Ahmed Chawki LADJIMI, Director General of Annaba Port Company. The agreement aims to establish a framework for cooperation and partnership between the two parties, enabling the Company to benefit from the university’s academic expertise and competencies while providing a practical training environment within the port institution. This will allow students and faculty members to connect their theoretical knowledge and academic studies with practical, field-based applications, while drawing on the professional and port environment to develop their projects and research.
This agreement forms part of Annaba Port Company’s commitment to fulfill its obligations towards its employees by investing in the development of their professional competencies, strengthening the knowledge and skills of its managers and workforce, and keeping pace with the changes and developments taking place in the port sector.
